Keith joined Yale Head Coach Lindsay Iordache's staff as a volunteer in the fall of 2019 after retiring from Harvard University. During his 27 years at Harvard, fifteen divers won Ivy Championships, and many more were Ivy finalists (top-8).
Six of his divers competed at the NCAA Championship, including Mike Mosca ’14, who also was just the third diver in Ivy League history to sweep the 1- and 3-meter events at three consecutive Ivy League Championships. In addition, Mosca was a finalist at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials and finished 13th at the 2014 NCAA Championships on 3-meter. Keith also coached Jing Leung ’18, who became the first Harvard All-American since 1992 when she finished eighth on the platform in 2016.
In addition to his work with Harvard's programs, Keith also coached at the 1994 and 1995 United States Olympic Festivals and was a member of the U.S. National Team staff from 1995-99. He coached the US National team in Vienna and Rome in 1995, traveled with the team to the Torneo de Clavados in Mexico in 1996, the World University Games in 1997, and the Canada Cup in 1999.
Prior to his appointment at Harvard, Keith was the diving coach at Wesleyan University (Conn.), UC-San Diego, Tufts University and MIT. He began his coaching career in 1981 as an assistant to John Walker, Harvard Diving Coach, 1972-88.
A 1982 graduate of Tufts University with a degree in Spanish literature, Keith is currently working with Common Vision, Inc., a residential construction and remodeling company based in Hamden, CT.
